There is a great hotel in Miyanoshita, the Fujiya Hotel (www.fujiyahotel.co.jp). It's very classy, the interior is almost luxurious, an inspired blend of the western and the Japanese styles, with a retro look because it has been open since the 19th century. From what I know, it's quite expensive, but I don't have any specific information on that aspect. There is also, in the hotel, an elegant French restaurant and the beautiful Orchid Lounge.
