catalina's question:
While I'm visiting Narita (since this is my first time in Japan) I'd like to find out about Japanese culture. Where can I do that?(give a different answer) .
In the third Friday of every month, at the Narita International Culture Hall, on 303 Tsuchiya, you can attend courses that teach you how to put on a kimono, how to play Koto, Ikebana (flower arrangement), Shodo (calligraphy), Sado (tea ceremony) and Origami. The courses are free of charge and they last from 10 am to 12 pm. The number to call for more detalis is 23-1331.
And every Thursday, from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm, at the Narita Kankokan or Narita Tourist Pavillion, on 383-1 Nakanocho, you can learn about the tea ceremony and appropriate manners. It's also free.
