Taito Ryokan is one of several choices in Tokyo, when it comes to cheap lodging.. Rooms look a little tired, but you can have a single room for Y 3000 per person, and the owner is really friendly and English speaking. There are just 7 tatami rooms. You can find the hotel on Nishi Asakusa.
