The best place to enjoy some high-quality live jazz in Tokio is the Blue Note (yes, it's part of the international chain). It's on 6-3-16 Minami-Ayoama, Minato-ku. They usually have famous singers and players, and the prices are high: they start at 6000 ¥. The shows are at 7 pm and 9:30 pm, and it's closed on Sunday.
Another option is the JZ Brat, in the Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel (26-1 Sakuragaoka-cho, Shibuya-ku). The shows are also at 7 and 9:30 pm and the entrance is 3000 ¥.
