The Asakura Choso Museum near Yanaka cemetery in Tokyo

Posted 1 year ago by valerie in response to avatar abdul's question: I'll be staying somewhere close to Nippori in Tokyo, just for a few days, anything worth seeing around the area? (give a different answer) .

JUst a few hundred metres away from Nippori, to the west, there is this museum called Asakura Choso, which was the home of the sculptor Asakura Fumio. THe place is really well kept, and the centre is dedicated to a lovely Japanese garden, while on the roof on the studio there is a beautiful Western style garden having great views of the area. It's Y400 for admission.
