Tsukiji Hongan ji, a Tokyo's Buddhist temple

Posted 1 year ago by rohn in response to avatar ginzo's question: Anything to visit when going to Tsukiji in Tokyo? (give a different answer) .

Getting out from Tsukiji subway, you'll first get a sight of the Tsukiji Hongan ji, which is one of the Indian looking of Tokyo's Buddhist temples. Inside there is the carved golden altar and the interior is really large, I think there is plenty of space for more than 1 thousand worshippers. Definitely worth seeing...
